Nguyen Mai Hoa

Hello everyone, and teachers. Today, I will introduce myself. My name is Nguyen Mai Hoa. I am 8 years old this year. My hobbies are swimming, reading books, and doing crafts. My favorite subject is English because during English class, I learn many useful things and try exercises on the iPad. My favorite teacher is Teacher Tracy because she is very beautiful and gentle. The book I like the most is about a deaf, blind, and mute writer named Helen Adams Keller. I like that story because Ms. Helen is very brave and overcomes all difficulties.

And I want to mention someone I admire very much, my mother, because she always spends time guiding me in my studies and telling me interesting things in life. I really love my Edison school. Here, I participate in many interesting activities such as field trips, cultural performances, and projects. My school is very spacious, with 2 large buildings, a football field, a basketball court, and a playground. During recess, my friends and I often play on the swings and play tag on the playground.

My favorite sport to learn at school is basketball because it helps me grow taller and more confident. What’s special is that at my school, the kitchen staff, security guards, and janitors are very friendly. They always smile when they see students. My school also has a very large cafeteria, where I can choose my favorite meal set and enjoy delicious food. I really love my school, and I will try my best to study hard and participate in many beneficial activities at school.
