Hello everyone! I am Doan Le Nguyet Ha, a student in class 8 at Edison Schools Middle School. The past school year has been a period when I embarked on my academic journey in a new environment, transitioning from middle school to high school.

I am someone who is always cheerful, smiling, and quite playful. I enjoy sports, ranging from intellectual to physical activities, and I immerse myself in the rhythm of music. I especially love exploring new places and indulging in delicious food every day. I excel in academics and critical thinking, balancing my studies across different subjects.

Although I joined the school a little later, I was fortunate to adapt quickly and become sociable in the new environment. This year marks the first year of Edison’s red brick environment. Being quite lively, I was able to integrate and engage in both learning and playing with my peers from the very first day.

Although there are only five of us sitting together in a class, it is enough to make each learning session effective. Through every lesson, whether it’s Math, Literature, English, Robotics, or arts and sports, I gain diverse experiences and learn different things. Every day is an opportunity for me to learn and develop myself, from honing teamwork skills to creatively engaging in project hours and events.

Eighth grade is also a time for me to explore my interests and future directions. Through various activities and events, I realize my strengths lie in arts and critical thinking, particularly excelling in Math and Music. I devote much time to participating in school projects like the continuous “We Connect” series or volunteering for school events.

These activities provide me with many skills and lessons to further develop myself. The support from my family, friends, and teachers is also a significant driving force, boosting my confidence and guiding me on my own path.

In the future, I hope to continue to enhance my knowledge and skills to achieve important goals. I aspire to earn scholarships to the schools I desire. To achieve this, I believe I need to exert much more effort. With diligence and perseverance, I believe I can overcome any challenges and fulfill my dreams through my strengths and personal development.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to those who have always been by my side: my family, friends, and teachers who accompany and support me every day, helping me overcome difficulties and become stronger day by day.
