The STEM & ROBOTICS program at our school is structured following the framework of the US program. It is carefully selected and designed to develop students' abilities and thinking in key areas such as IT, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Modern Technology. Additionally, this program is uniquely integrated with Creative Arts, providing a well-rounded approach to technical and creative education.

This is applicable to students who achieve an average grade of 75% or higher over three years in high school.

01. Entry Requirements

All students who are of the required age ranges, must have completed the national standard curriculum with good conduct, and meet the specific etry requirements.
Students who are Vietnamese living overseas, students who leave school in the middle of school year will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Parents please contact Admissions Office to get further information on the entry requirements and application documents.

02. Admissions procedures

Gathering Information

– Parents can contact the school’s Admissions Department through various channels such as the hotline, website, fanpage, or Zalo to obtain detailed information about the school’s enrollment process for the upcoming academic year.

Registration and Enrollment

– Parents are required to register their child and complete the payment for the enrollment fee and examination fee, following the guidelines provided by the school’s Admissions Department.

Entrance Diagnostic Assessment

– The school will notify parents of the schedule for the entrance diagnostic assessment via email and/or phone.

– Students participate in the assessment according to the scheduled appointment at the school.

Receiving Assessment Results

– Parents will be notified of the overall results (Pass/Fail) via phone within 7 working days post-assessment.

– A detailed report, including comments on each subject, will be sent to parents via email within 14 working days.

Completion of Enrollment Procedures

– Parents are required to complete the tuition fee and enrollment paperwork as guided by the school’s Admissions Department.

What are the differences between Standard English, American Bilingual, and Australian Dual Diploma Programs?

Standard English & American Bilingual Programs differ in the number of students per class, the English language program and Tuition:

Standard English Program

– The maximum number of students is 35 students per class.

– There are 10 English lessons per week with 50% of the time taught by foreign teachers.

– The English as a Second Language program (ESL) is designed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), aiming at the goal that students reach the language proficiency and competency to attend prestigious international or national universities.

American Bilingual Program

– The maximum number of students is 28 students per class.

– There are 16 English lessons per week with 63% of the time taught by foreign teachers.

– In this program, in addition to the ESL Program according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), students also study English as a Native Language (ENL), American Math Program (American Maths) and Science Program in English (English for Science). These are programs built and developed on the basis of the Common American Program Framework (Common Core), aiming at the goal that students reach the language proficiency and competency to attend prestigious international or national universities.

Can the students transfer between Standard English, American Bilingual, & Australian Dual Diploma Programs?

In primary and secondary school, after each school year, students can register to move from Standard English Program to American Bilingual Program and vice versa.

The transfer from Standard to Bilingual program for students in the middle school will be based on the results of English (ESL) performance for the academic year, it will be based on the transfer assessment results for new students.

The transfer from Bilingual to Standard program is approved based on the family’s preference.

Which universities do Edison students enter when they graduate from Edison High school?

With a strong and consistent Career Counseling, University & Study Abroad Program from the final stages of lower secondary and the beginning of high school, Edison students are well-informed and oriented, understanding their strengths, career-minded thinking, and building early learning and activity paths to successfully conquer top universities domestically and internationally. Over the years, 100% of Edison Schools’ Grade 12 students have been admitted to top universities both domestically and internationally. The rate of students obtaining university entrance scholarships is up to 53%, with common scholarship ranges from 25% to 50%.

Do students who live near the school have the option to eat and rest at home during lunchtime?

For nearby residents, Edison Schools offer flexible semi-boarding arrangements allowing students to:

– Eat all 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack) and rest at school

– Have lunch, afternoon snack and rest at school

– Bring packed lunches and rest at school

– Go home for lunch and rest

What is the daily menu like for students, and can parents view it?

The school has its own Food Service Department, following the highest modern standards for food safety and hygiene. We use fresh ingredients imported and prepared daily with modern cooking systems, providing a diverse range of meals with both Asian and Western menus. These meals are nutritionally balanced, safe, delicious, and help students develop healthy eating habits. The menu, along with real images of students’ meals, is regularly updated on the School Online application, which connects and exchanges information between families and the school, allowing parents to stay informed.

What are the conditions for Ecopark residents to receive this discount? How long is this policy valid?

The policy for Mailand residents applies to students with a resident card and residing in Mailand.

For homeowners, eligibility is determined by the house purchase contract and resident card.

For tenants, eligibility is determined by the house owner’s sale contract, the rental contract, and the resident card.

Students in this category must submit the Mailand Resident Certificate (as per school’s format) each academic year to avail of this policy.

The discount for Mailand residents is 15% for the first 5 years since the school’s establishment (2023-2024) and 10% for the next 5 years.

Does the School have preferential policies for siblings to study at school?

The school offers a discount on tuition and bus fees for families with more than one child enrolled:

– Tuition: A 10% discount on tuition for the second child and subsequent children enrolled in the same academic year. This policy is applied in addition to other discounts, after the application of the Mailand resident discount. This policy applies to both students paying tuition fees under the Ecopark resident and non-resident policies.

– Transportation service: A 20% discount on transportation fees for the second child and subsequent children using the service. This applies to students paying tuition under the Mailand non-resident policy.

Tuition Payment Dates and Methods for each school year

Tuition deadlines: Semester 1 on July 15; Semester 2 on December 15 annually. The school also offers early payment incentives with discounts up to 20%.

When do enrollment and entry tests start?

The school’s new academic year enrollment typically begins in January each year, accommodating grades 1 to 9 until capacity is reached.

Can students attend a trial class before official enrollment?

To provide students with an opportunity to experience the learning environment and activities at Edison, the school regularly organizes Experience Days and Short Experience Courses for different grades, such as the Pre-Primary Program “Hello Eddie Grade 1”, Secondary School Experience Course “Backpack to Secondary School”, Grade 1 Experience Day, Primary Experience Day, etc.

What is the assessment content for Grade 1? Does it require students to know how to read and write?

For Grade 1 students, the school’s entrance assessment is designed as an experience session with two main components:
